'Outrage' As Bombardier Announce 490 Job Cuts In Northern Ireland

GMB OUTRAGE AS BOMBARDIER ANNOUNCE 490 JOB CUTS IN NORTHERN IRELAND

Bombardier jobs are crucial to Belfast’s economy and GMB will fight tooth and nail to save them

GMB, the union for Bombardier workers, has responded with outrage to the Bombardier’s announcement the company is cutting 490 jobs in Northern Ireland.[1]

Michael Muholland, GMB Organiser, said:

“GMB is outraged by this announcement from Bombardier.

“Our members in Northern Ireland have already suffered months of uncertainty following Trump’s tariffs – now they are under the cosh again.

“Bombardier jobs are crucial to Belfast’s economy and GMB will fight tooth and nail to save them.

"GMB will be meeting reps today and over the next few days to discuss next steps."
