Paul McCarthy, GMB Northern Ireland Secretary, said “Margaret is a strong and determined woman who has spent a life time fighting for equality and representing GMB members wherever she has worked or been called upon to do so.

GMB is fortunate that she gives her time to the GMB National Equality Forum and continues the work that she knows so well how to do.

Where equality is missing, people suffer and it is people like Margaret who put that right.”
