Stuart Harrison, GMB Regional Organiser, said “This time of the year makes you reflect on your own circumstances but also makes you grateful for what we take for granted, working with Property Care in partnership has helped provide some support to the charity which is very rewarding.
The Albert Street Project meet once a week to distribute food and clothing to those who are sleeping rough, whatever the weather. This week they will be giving out blankets and clothing kindly donated by GMB and Midland Heart.”
Greg Lakin, Head of Property Care at Midland Heart, said“Our Property Care teams are out and about every day in the Birmingham area and can see the challenges some people face throughout the year but especially in the winter months.
