New Gmb Support Centre For Asda Members

We are already seeing the vast benefits of the GMB Members Support Centre says GMB

GMB London Region has introduced an online GMB Members Support Centre for all ASDA Stores in the Region.

Daren Parmenter, London Region Organiser, said “This has enabled us to answer our members’ queries quicker and more effectively, ensuring they go to the most appropriate GMB steward to handle their query.

The service is available 24/7 and is free to all members employed within ASDA in London.  The new service is confidential and allows our members to get a fast professional response to any query, question, request for representation or support they may need.

The service was developed and introduced by Keith Dixon, our National Shop Steward for the London Region.  It has been designed to be easy to use by both our members and GMB Stewards in the region.

We are already seeing the vast benefits of the GMB Members Support Centre.  Our members feel they are more involved, receive regular contact and updates during the time needed to resolve their issues.  I feel this will continue to be a great success and a benefit to all ASDA members in the region.”
