NO DEAL BREXIT PAPERS SHOW GOVERNMENT’S ‘UTTER CONTEMPT’ FOR BRITISH PUBLIC SAYS GMB

New papers advising people, businesses, and other groups about how plan for a no deal Brexit show the Government’s utter contempt for the British public, says GMB union
The first batch of 25 'technical notices' setting out what the Government is doing to prepare for no-deal have been released today. 
This first batch will cover areas including medical supplies, financial services, nuclear safeguards, farming and organic food production.
About 80 notices are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
Jude Brimble, GMB National Secretary, said:
“This Conservative government is gambling with UK industry and people’s livelihoods.
“In their frantic scramble to keep the party and fragile coalition together they are showing an utter contempt for the British public.
“Ministers said a trade deal would be easiest thing in the world and now with a few months to go we are preparing for chaos.
“GMB demands the Government put people’s jobs, safety and health above settling internal party squabbles.”
